Apr 1998		LEX Nexus founded as a partnership firm in Mumbai. The firm then handled fair amount of non-contentious matters only.
Aug 1999		LEX Nexus practice grew and then chose to establish for contentious and arbitration matters also. Took over the law firm 'Hathi & Alliances' which was a brainchild of advocates and solicitor Mr. Shrikant Hathi and absorbed him as partner.
Nov 2000		LEX Nexus shifted its office from Nariman Point, Mumbai to Fort, Mumbai very much closer to the Bombay High Court being the hub for well established law firms and for convenience.
Apr 2002		Took over a boutique law firm 'Farooqui & Associates' and absorbing Mr. Suhail Farooqui as partner.
Jun 2003		New Delhi office was started which is headed by Mr. Pragyan Sharma
Jul  2004		Dr. Kailash Chand joined LEX Nexus as partner
Aug 2005		Ms. Seema Bengani from Senior Counsel's Mr. K.K. Venugopal's Chamber joins LEX Nexus as partner.
Aug 2006		LEX Nexus introduces Mumbai research office in addition to its Mumbai main office and New Delhi office.
Oct 2006		LEX Nexus re-named as HATHI & PARTNERS with no further changes to firms constitution.
Oct 2006		Mr. Uttam Hathi, practising counsel of the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India joins HATHI & PARTNERS as partner.
